Discover Mo & Rose's country getaway for exploring the Robertson Wine Valley - situated on perhaps the world's longest wine route the R60 / R62 just outside of Robertson in scenic Klaasvoogds West. Nestled at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains enter a magical world - a sensual secret garden inhabited by legions of succulent plants and trees silhouetted against the vast South African sky. At the centre of this marvel reside the country house and a superb restaurant called Succulent by Chef Werner Snoek.

The 8 contemporary en-suite bedrooms have private patios with enchanting garden and magical mountain views. Each thoughtfully designed with close attention to detail.

Restaurant
Succulent by Chef Werner Snoek can be found in the beautifully renovated old barn and celebrates the art and joy of eating and drinking. Our guests dine on seasonal Cape Winelands cuisine with a European twist. Our mission is to serve thoughtfully handcrafted fare utilising fresh local produce with most of the vegetables and herbs locally grown.
The Gardens
The “seekers' courtyard” is a private garden brimming with trees that stand as natural sculptures in the sky alongside aloes, succulents and euphorbia's. Since its fledgling years (1950ies), the garden has grown into a sanctuary of natural beauty. It features hundreds of different species of succulent plants; cacti included.

We so enjoyed our stay at Mo and Rose. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our beautiful room. So capacious and great attention to detail. Wonderfully decorated. The gardens were really amazing and worth a visit if in that area, even if you are not staying there. Our breakfast was a delight and the service great. We had good recommendations for lunch, which was The Kranz and tasted great wines and enjoyed a well set out cheese board. Our dinner recommendation was The Small Robertson Hotel which itself was a delight and a great meal with very good service. Thank you for your recommendation. Please keep on recommending them they are wonderful
