About Mont Eco Game Reserve

Set in the Karoo, within the reserve, Mont Eco Game Reserve Lodge is situated along the tree line of a riverbed and protected by the surrounding mountains. Being home to the Big 5, you can experience an unforgettable wildlife safari.

Accommodation

Mont Eco Game Reserve Lodge offers beautifully appointed private suites, carefully spaced in the tree line of a Karoo river bed. Its open wood and glass modern design brings the green calmness of the forested outdoor into a space rich in texture and opulance, softened by the romance of white bed curtains and linens.

The suites are furnished with extra length King-size beds with 100 percent cotton percale white linen and a sofa bed for a child. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin.

Enjoy the lounge sitting area in front of the fire in the cooler evenings or sit on the deck in a hanging chair amongst the trees. A dining area and kitchenette offer space to enjoy coffee, teas and wines or even indoor dining by arrangement with our resident chef.

On Site Facilities

The lodge boasts a restaurant, a guest lounge and an entertainment area with a pool table, a viewing deck overlooking the reserve. Guests can cool off and catch some sun at the lovely swimming pool area which includes sun loungers as well as partially covered day beds.

Game drives take place twice daily, just after twilight and again into the afternoon. Sundowner drinks are enjoyed in the bush before returning to the lodge for a traditional African dinner.
