About Moon Shine on Whiskey Creek
Just 10 minutes from Plettenberg Bay, 1000 miles from reality, Moon Shine lies in the very heart of The Garden Route and all its attractions. Encompassing 14 hectares of unspoiled indigenous forest, Moon Shine is a small and enchanting venue created with minimum impact on the environment.
Experience the forest from the comfort of your stunningly hand crafted wooden cabin nestled among the trees, or spend time taking in the gorgeous view from the sun drenched veranda of the quirky garden cottage.
Accommodation
All cabins are fully equipped for self catering, bring only what you need to eat and drink and beach towels. All cabins have their own braai facilities and parking. Some units have flatscreen TV's with select DStv and all units have FREE Wi-Fi. Smoking is restricted to outdoors; cigarette butts on the ground are considered litter.

Facilities
Whilst we have no restaurant on the premises we do offer a small menu of pre-cooked frozen meals and breakfast items. These are delivered to you cabin for you to heat and enjoy. Cabins are serviced every 5th day of stay, before you arrive and after you leave.

We are very proud of the Five Green Hearts awarded to us for our efforts to protect and conserve the environment by implementing the following practices: Recycling, Water Wise Practices, Sustainable Energy Acumen, Eco Architecture and Conservation. Moon Shine on Whiskey Creek also supports local Animal Welfare Services through donations to their charity shop to assist with their fund raising efforts.

Kick off your heels and walk down a 50 meter foot path from where you park your car. Hidden in the forest canopy you will find a romantic hide-away, the Fly Me To The Moon Forest Cabin. Lots of light, with bold colours and small details, the cabin has everything two people might need to escape the crazy world for a while. There is a one of a kind Queen-size tent-like bed with a drop away sash window; a private mosaic and glass shower with a view on the deck and an en-suite bathroom with toilet and basin. There is a cosy fire place inside and braai area outside. A very private space, beautifully hand crafted with a creative twist. There is no TV, but the cabin does have FREE Wi-Fi.

The kitchen and living area are bigger than the 2 small cabins and there is a lovely open fireplace. French doors open onto the deck. No TV, but FREE Wi-Fi is offered.

Five minutes at Butterfly Garden Cottage and you will know from where it gets its name. Butterfly is a creatively restored farm cottage, bright and full of character. Set in its own garden it boasts the finest views on the property and a wide veranda from which to enjoy this. The cottage sleeps up to 5 people in two interleading bedrooms, one with queen size bed and the other with a double bunk and a single bed. The living area is open plan and the view from the kitchen sink will have everyone clamouring to do the dishes. The Shower Tower, finished in creative mosaic is an artwork to behold. Enjoyed the little tree house so much!!! It has everything you need!! The fireplace made it snuggly in the evenings and the big window at the bed made you feel part of nature in the mornings. A great way to just switch off from the city's rat race
