About Mooring House Guest Lodge
Set in tranquil and pleasant surroundings on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain, Mooring House Guest Lodge offers spacious and tasteful B&B or self catering accommodation in Somerset West. Good value for money and good hospitality ensures our guests have a memorable and enjoyable stay.
Moorning House Guest Lodge is situated at the gateway to the various wine estates and are in close proximity to 5 golf courses, namely Erinvale golf estate, Somerset West Golf Club, Strand Golf Club, De Zalze and Stellenbosch).
Somerset West Accommodation
In total the Guest House can accommodate a maximum of 24 guests. Each room has own private entrance and en-suite bathroom, TV reception , sitting area and our garden facing units have private outdoor patios. Apart from basic equipment in the Self-Catering units, all rooms have coffee/tea hospitality trays, fridges and microwaves for accommodation convenience.
Internet access is available as well as adequate and on-site parking is available within the premises, behind electronic gates. A refreshing pool is also available to our guests who would prefer to "cool-off" after a warm day out sightseeing.
Breakfast
If our guests are not into a self catering holiday then breakfast around the pool or on the patio outside their unit can always be arranged. Light meals can be arranged for lunch or supper and picnic hampers can be made up upon request.
Facilities
Adequate and secure off street parking is available within the premises, behind electronic gates. A sparkling and refreshing pool is also available to our guests. From the pool and garden area we have lovely views of the Helderberg Mountain as a backdrop and distant sea views in the front Pool and beach towels are provided.
Additional Services
We also offer a shuttle service to and from Cape Town International Airport which is an approximate 20 minute drive away.
Not only because of our excellent hospitality, some of our guests (both local and international) return year after year because of the good standard of accommodation offered at acceptable rates. Good value for money and good hospitality ensures our guests have a memorable and enjoyable stay.
