Mountain Retreat has four en-suite bedrooms located on the ground level. The first two bedrooms are furnished with a Queen-size bed and the other two rooms each have two single beds which can be converted to Queen-size beds if required. The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a bath and a shower. Each bedroom has a fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge-freezer, as well as a washing machine and dryer. The dining area has seating for eight guests and opens to a covered patio with outdoor furniture. The patio leads to a garden and swimming pool with a safety net. The house also features a Jacuzzi. The lounge is located on the upper level and is furnished with comfortable leather couches, a flat screen TV and DSTV. There is an additional dining room with seating for eight guests upstairs, which leads out to an outside veranda where guests have a 360-degree view of the whole Zebula and surrounding bushveld. Undercover parking is provided.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
