In the picturesque Sneeuberg Mountain Range in South Africa's malaria-free Eastern Cape province, Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve offers a personalised safari in a region that is steeped in history and culture.
The reserve is home to white rhino, Cape buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, mountain zebra, a host of antelope, newly re-introduced lions (the first time Mount Camdeboo has had lions in 180 years) and an abundance of birds and unique Cape flora. The reserve offers a host of activities, from game drives and guided bush walks, to cheetah tracking, star gazing and Anglo Boer War talks at an historic site on the reserve. Situated in a malaria-free area, it is the ideal option for a family getaway and welcomes children of all ages.
