Muskadel is a cottage at Rainbow Glen offering accommodation in Montagu. The cottage is located conveniently close to the Cogmanskloof hiking trails and rock climbing crags and has a splendid view of Kanonkop. It is also within walking distance to farm stalls, coffee shops, restaurants, and shops including the dried fruit and nut shops as well as the quaint Saturday morning village market.

Self Catering Accommodation

Muskadel Cottage in Montagu has two bedrooms each furnished with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Guests will need to bring their own swimming towels.

The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, microwave, stove and oven, kettle and toaster. There is comfortable seating in the living area. Wi-Fi is available and there is a TV with satellite channels. The living area leads to a kids room furnished with a bunk bed and two single beds.

Outside is a veranda with built in braai, dining table and seating.

Guests can enjoy the swimming pool on hot summer days as well as a spacious lawn where families can play games or simply relax and enjoy the mountain view. A jungle gym and slide and a trampoline will keep the little ones entertained. There are bunnies and chickens and kids can get involved at feeding time.

Montagu is located on Route 62 the longest wine route in the world. Apart from wine tasting on the numerous wine farms in the area, there are many other activities on offer, including tractor trips up the mountain, hiking trails, mountain biking, hot springs, boat trips, art galleries, museums and historical walks.
