About Mziki Safari Lodge

Mziki Safari Lodge offers a natural haven for eco-travellers looking for an encounter with the African bush. Set on 12 500 acres of prime bushveld, Mziki Private Game Reserve is home to three of the Big Five, over 50 species of mammals and 372 species of birds.

The reserve is perfect for families and is a genuine home-away-from-home bush experience combined with charming South African hospitality.

Full Board Accommodation

Our range of accommodation options cater to every type of traveller. Regardless of if you are looking for somewhere for your honeymoon or a place for a family getaway, we'll have you covered. Accommodation is offered on a full board basis with meals being served in the boma restaurant.

The Full Board Rates INCLUDE accommodation, full breakfast, light lunch and dinner, two wildlife activities per day (i.e. game drives or bush walks), romantic turndowns and private dinners for honeymoon, anniversaries or special occasions. Complimentary WiFi and complimentary archery and pellet shooting included).

Mziki Safari Lodge does not have an age restriction for game viewing with families catered for on their own game vehicles so as to ensure their comfort and that of other lodge guests. Explore the wonders of the African bush by day, or night, with your expert game ranger, from the area's prolific birdlife, to mammals, trees and even insects.

Junior Rangers

Mziki Safari Lodge Junior Ranger course is fun for the entire family. From ages 6 and above we offer an exciting program aimed at teaching kids about the beauty of nature through various practical activities. From tracking different animals on game drives with your rangers and understanding animal behavior to more survival orientated activities around the lodge to keep the kids entertained during the down time in the day.
