For those who're looking to spend a night or two in the warm heart of Nieu Bethesda, Nagenoeg (meaning “near enough” in Afrikaans) is the most centrally situated guest house in the village. Even better, for those who're getting married, it's only three metres from Die Waenhuis wedding venue.

Self Catering Accommodation

Offering self catering accommodation, Nagenoeg is a charming, ‘golden oldie'. Situated on the corner of Martin and Hudson Streets it has three bedrooms; two have double beds and one has two single beds, which makes it perfect for a family stay.

Features

Features of the house include one shared bathroom with a bath (but no shower), a large dining room, and a sun-drenched kitchen. During winter, you can cosy up to the fireplace in the lounge or entertain the family in the games room.

Whip up a meal in the kitchen - Nagenoeg has a fridge, a two-plate stove, microwave and more. Alternatively have a braai outside while the children run around in the large garden.

Do note, however, that the property is not fenced in for pets.

The Ibis Lounge Restaurant

If you feel like dining out, give the Ibis Lounge Restaurant a try. The restaurant is open seven days a week (08h00 to 20h00) and serves burgers, steaks, pastas and curry.

Produce is sourced locally and the organic veggies are from our garden, when in season.
