The historic farm of Natte Valleij set on the lower slopes of the Simonsberg Mountains, is within easy reach of Paarl, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Cape Town (35 minutes).

Natte Valleij oozes a sense of history with its homestead, old wine cellars, brandy stills, magnificent mature gardens with ancient trees, pergolas and ponds that all are surrounded by whitewashed walls.

On offer are classic wines, friendly and efficient hospitality in the self-catering and bed & breakfast accommodation in Stellenbosch.

Accommodation

The self catering cottages are The Cellar Cottage and The Vineyard Cottage. The Cellar Cottage (sleeps two) is situated next to the wine cellars while the Vineyard Cottage (three double bedrooms) is the oldest on the property, dating back to 1715.

Vineyard Cottage:
Vineyard Cottage is our spacious self-catering cottage that can comfortably sleeps 6. It has three double bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with shower), sitting room with fireplace, dining room and a kitchen. The stoep (patio) where you can peacefully enjoy a glass of wine overlooks the horse paddock with BBQ (braai) facilities on the lawn.

Cellar Cottage:
The Cellar Cottage is situated next to the old wine cellars and is a cosy one bedroom self-catering cottage. It has a double bedroom, sitting room, into which two beds can be arranged for children, bathroom and kitchen. Also with a stoep and BBQ (braai facilities).

En-Suite Guestroom:
The en-suite guestroom is situated off the courtyard of the homestead with its own entrance and tea/coffee making facilities. It consists of a double en-suite and ideal for an overnight stay on route. Breakfast is served under the vines of the homestead during summer.

The Hen House
The Henhouse at Natte Vallej is a two bedroom self catering cottage, sleeping four guests in two rooms. It has two double bedroom (both bedrooms are furnished with double beds), sitting room, bathroom and kitchen.
