nDzuti Bush Camp is a highly recommended Limpopo game lodge providing a wildlife experience for discerning anyone visiting Valley of the Olifants.
nDzuti Bush Camp in Maseke Game Reserve part of the Greater Kruger Park and is the flagship of current conservation efforts; being the newest addtion to the Greater Kruger Associated Private Nature Reserves.
The attraction of Little nDzuti tented bush camp in Greater Kruger is not the comfort of the accommodation, rather the adventure of sleeping under basic canvas cover in a wild area with night sounds and the African bush just the other side of the screen.
What to expect at the lodge/reserve
The tents have sturdy twin beds and feel-good linen with bed side table, luggage racks and mat to complete indoor furnishing. There are electric lights and a plug point. Windows with built in fly screen on the two sides for a cool breeze and canvas canopy over the tented accommodation.
Two locally hand-made “ Morris chairs” and a table furnish the little patio.
Adjacent to the tent on the same slab is an outdoor bathroom with basin, shower and flushing loo. The shower has hot water throughout the day. Towels and guest amenities are provided.
The bush camp has an unfenced garden with a small splash pool and hammocks, a thatched lounge area which is cool in the heat of the day. The camp looks out onto a waterhole where animals come to drink; day and night.
Currently meals are served on the pool deck with a view over the waterhole, where a seemingly endless stram of wildlife come to drink. In the evenings a fire adds to the ambiance and joy of dining outdoors. Soon a tented pavilion will offer an alternative dining venue and a boma bucked with a grove of trees will have a fire and scattered conversations pits.
Game drives in the morning and the afternoon head out into the vast area of Greater Kruger where the BIG 5 roam and where the many other African animals can be viewed from open safari vehicles and even while on foot on a walk with an armed guide.
