About Nullarbor Cottages
Nestled in the rocky arms of gentle rolling mountains on a private farm lie the Nullarbor Cottages - a piece of paradise in the tranquility of the country and accordingly we regret no children under 15 years allowed.
Situated on a 15ha farm, only 1 hour's drive from Johannesburg, Pretoria, Hartbeespoort Dam and Rustenburg, and 4km from the quaint town of Magaliesburg with 2km of good sand road.
Self Catering Accommodation
Comprising ten individually decorated cottages which make up the great city escape that is Nullarbor. Each a beautifully appointed private wooden / brick cottage with bathroom en-suite which are ideal for a romantic getaway. Some with enticing corner Jacuzzi spa baths to bubble away your stress.
The units are surrounded by gardens and trees and have mountain views, individual braai areas and lapas with covered parking for vehicles situated conveniently next to each cottage. For chilly winter evenings we provide electric blankets and heaters as well as indoor fireplaces. Fans are provided for hot summer days - not to mention the three swimming pools shared amongst the ten units.
TV's in all of the cottages with Open view DSTV channels (SABC 1, 2, 3, ETV) are supplied for your entertainment.
Fully equipped kitchens with microwave, stove, full size refrigerator/freezer, and all utensils. All linen and bath towels are provided.
Pet-friendly Accommodation
Pets are allowed by arrangement in 5 units namely no. 4 Hornbill, 7 Pula Moon, 8 Mali, 9 Venus and 10 So HobGoblin which are all fully fenced and gated.
Facilities
The name Nullarbor conjures up barren wastelands (borrowed from the Australian Nullarbor Plains - Latin translation, null meaning no/none and arbour meaning tree). Nullarbor farm which started out with no trees has been transformed into a green leafy miracle and no longer reflects the original meaning. Bird life is prolific in the area and is a favourite pastime of our with 3 splash pools.
Attractions & Activities
We are conveniently situated for sightseeing in the Magaliesburg area as well as being close to the Cradle of Humankind. There are many restaurants and pubs close so eating out is an option. It is the ideal place for those wanting peace and quiet away from children and to escape for a romantic break away with your partner.

Lovely wooden cabin with all the required amenties during loadshedding. Just take your own torch along. Off the beaten track so we got to sit under a sky of stars for the evening.
