Situated 18 minutes from Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve, Oak View Manor is a Cape Dutch Heritage Home offering guest house accommodation in Heidelberg, free private parking, and a garden.
Accommodation
Oak View Manor offers four stunning en-suite guest rooms. One of the rooms is situated in the main house on the second floor. The rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels (suites also have Netflix), a fridge, microwave, kettle, shower, hairdryer, and a desk. All rooms at the guest house are equipped with a seating area, and The Family Room has a shower and slipper bath.

Dining
Full English/Irish and vegetarian breakfast options are available each morning at Oak View Manor, to be arranged before 20h00 the night prior. Breakfast can be ordered and served either in the parlour, al fresco, or as room service. Lunch and dinner can be arranged on request. The awarded home restaurant and cafe is mostly open every second weekend of the month, with dinner on Friday, a visual menu on Saturdays, and a 3-course traditional lunch on Sundays. Book to avoid disappointment, as functions take precedence.

The guesthouse has a restaurant and bar. A braai area with two splash baths and a fire pit is available. Parking is available on site.
Attractions
The Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve - a fair size nature reserve named after the sugar bush or Protea Caffra. It lies within an hour's drive of the city and its major feature is the Suikerbos Mountain Range that serves as the backdrop to a network of backpacking hiking trails and a 60km tourist route you can do by car. Get an early start if you're planning on a summer hike at Suikerbosrand as it can get pretty warm during the day. Visit the Heidelberg Heritage museum 3km away.

This spacious suite has an entrance hall kitchen with a family-friendly 'click' double sleeper couch, bar fridge, microwave, small desktop oven, kettle, and basin. It is suitable for basic self-catering and faces a courtyard with a built-in braai area, dining area, fire pit, and two splash baths.
