About On The Bay Bed & Breakfast
On The Bay offers 3 star accommodation in Port Elizabeth for business executives, tourists and holiday makers. The property is situated in Summerstrand just one block from PE's popular beachfront.
Whilst providing easy access to the beach which is a hive of activity boasting major water and sport events, we are proud to maintain peaceful tranquillity in the midst of our beautiful garden with only the sound of the waves lapping our shores.
Accommodation
All rooms have their own entrance, an en-suite bathroom with shower, TV with DStv, bar fridge, toaster, microwave and tea / coffee making facilities. Some of the rooms offer self-catering facilities to prepare a light meal. There is FREE Wi-Fi.
We offer facilities surrounded by a beautiful English garden boasting over 90 rose bushes. The rooms are vibrantly furnished and individually decorated offering a personal touch to make your stay special. All rooms offer a private entrance and a patio area.

You can choose between a large full English or Continental breakfast at an additional cost. Meals are prepared with love and served in the dining room or on the patio.

Activities and Attractions
A short drive will take you to the airport (6km), university (9km), golf courses and sports stadiums. We are well positioned for Iron man and all major local and international sport events. Just a 30-minute drive from On The Bay you will find our world famous malaria free Addo Elephant National Park and Schotia Safaris.
Sunday's River Adventures is situated alongside the Addo entrance and offers a large range of water sport and the largest Dune fields in the Southern Hemisphere. We are also ideally situated for day trips to Jeffrey's bay, Cape St Francis, Tstsikamma and Storms River, Port Alfred, Kenton on Sea, Plettenberg Bay and Knysna. We are more than happy to advise and arrange safaris, sea trips, scuba diving or any outdoor adventures.
