Oregon Place Guest House is one of the highly recommended Middelburg guest houses and provides accommodation in 14 guest rooms for anyone visiting the Cultural Heartland region.
About Oregon Place Guest House
Oregon Place Guest House is situated in the middle of the Cultural Heartland of South Africa in Middelburg, Mpumalanga. Only an hour and a half drive from Johannesburg and OR Tambo International Airport makes Oregon Place a perfect overnight stop en route to the Kruger National Park, Mozambique, Swaziland, and the magnificent Mpumalanga scenic route. Middelburg is also situated in the mining and manufacturing hub of Mpumalanga, thus the perfect place to be based when on a business trip to the area.
Accommodation
The stately house (Oregon Place) was built in the early 1920's. In 1997 we restored the building to its original glory and transformed it into a beautiful Guest House for all visitors to Mpumalanga to enjoy. Attention was paid to the smallest detail to ensure everything is just perfect for our guests.
Today Oregon Place offers the corporate, local and international guest all the comforts of a top class Bed and Breakfast. Our world class service compliment the relaxed, friendly and professional environment, ensuring that each guest has a memorable stay, be it for one night only or multiple nights.
We strive to offer a home away from home feeling that is further enhanced by the addition of up-to-date technology ensuring that our corporate guests can get the job done, hassle free while away from their home base.
Oregon Place has 14 stylishly decorated en-suite rooms that will provide guests with privacy and comfort in a cosy environment.
Breakfast and Dining
Guests can enjoy a superb English breakfast served in our spacious dining area by attentive staff.
We also serve a freshly prepared 2-course dinner from Monday to Friday. It is not only delicious but great value for money.
Dinner must be booked when you make your accommodation reservation. Please advise us of your special dietary requirements or any other needs.
Should you wish to dine out we will be happy to recommend local restaurants or even do the booking on your behalf.
