About Oukraal Venue

OuKraal venue is a country venue situated at Lupela Lodge, perfect for that amazing destination wedding with family and friends. The beautiful views of the mountains, river and agricultural lands give you that unique guest experience and setting for beautiful wedding photos.

The Venue

OuKraal is an owner manage venue and we are actively involved in your special day. The reception hall is an old sandstone building which is built on two levels. The reception area can host up to 200 guests. Beautiful wooden floors and wooden tables with a separate serving area for the food.

You will be entertained by our country style cuisine, using only local produced products where possible. Our menus are specially designed to offer you great food or Bride and Groom can design their own menu. All breads for the day are made on the day of the wedding. We are experienced in wedding cakes and flower decorations all done to your requirement. The bottom level is used during canape hour, bar also on this level.

Ceremony Venue

We have two ceremony options available. Our Boskerk is in a forest overlooking the river with wooden benches and a rustic pulpit. Alternatively, a garden wedding on the lawns with beautiful views on the mountains in a well-kept garden.

Accommodation

Accommodation available on the premises and surrounding farms, see Lupela Lodge. You can also make use of the local shuttle service for a safe return of your guests to their accommodation. This is a popular option with our brides.

We are situated 3 hours from Bloemfontein and 25km from Lady Grey. We would love to be part of your special day and helping you to create an unforgettable day.
