Oxbow Country Estate is well known in Gauteng as a highly sought-after venue for weddings and conferencing. Set in the foothills of the Magaliesberg range, near Bronkhorstspruit Dam, the estate is home to a unique river system with remarkable geographical phenomena known as oxbows.

These waters have now become a haven to over 130 recorded species of birdlife, including abundant insect and aquatic species. The gardens, lovingly landscaped over the years, further enhance the tranquillity you will experience when visiting this estate in the country.

Weddings

At Oxbow Country Estate, your celebration is as unique as you are. We offer an idyllic location for your dream wedding; exchange vows in a beautiful country setting with breathtaking views, panoramic vistas and sparkling waters.

Choosing to get married at Oxbow Country Estate means you will have exclusivity for the duration of your wedding. The bride will have her very own luxury dressing room with a gorgeous first floor view of the estate. The dedicated Oxbow Team will guide guests and proceedings to ensure that you are free to enjoy this most important day.

Riverbed Hall:
The Riverbed Hall is an exceptional venue architecturally designed to include natural beauty, views, lighting and water reflections. The venue seats up to 200 guests with a dance floor. There is a fully stocked bar with internal and external service hatches. On warmer evenings, the glass stacking doors can be folded back to reveal the extraordinary beauty of the estate.

Outdoor Pavilion:
The outdoor Pavilion is surrounded by immaculate gardens. Guests can enjoy sweeping views before you walk down the aisle. Included in the outdoor Pavilion are chairs for up to 200 guests as well as outdoor tables and chairs for guests that arrive slightly earlier.The Chapel offers seating for up to 200 guests with air-conditioning, carpeted floors and white Tiffany chairs. The chapel offers ample lighting for photographs and is a romantic intimate space.

Conferences

Get thinking in the peaceful country surrounds for your workshop, brainstorming, bonding or team building experience. The Oxbow team specialises in creating a conference experience for small intimate groups of between 10 and 40 delegates. Breakaways and quiet sessions can be held in the lounge, at one of the dams or at the pavilion gardens with a boma.

Conference delegates will be delighted by the exceptional cuisine and dining areas. Team building, walking and fly fishing can be arranged for delegates.
