About Panorama Lodge

Panorama Lodge in Knysna, in the heart of the Garden Route is situated on a hilltop in a quiet area between Knysna town and the Heads. There are panoramic views of the Knysna Lagoon and Heads and in the distance the silhouette of the Outeniqua Mountains.

Accommodation

The Lagoon Room
Has its own private balcony with a view on to the lagoon and onto the poolarea and you can watch the beautiful sunsets. The room is en-suite with shower and decorated in African style with a kingsizebed with electric blankets, woodden floor, equipped with wall heater, TV, safe, fan, hairdryer and tea and coffee facilities.

The Blue Room
Has a view into the garden and has the morning sun. The room is en-suite with shower decorated in ocean style with 2 single beds with electric blankets (spare bed on request) and equipped with wall heater, TV, safe, hairdryer and tea and coffee facilities.

The Bushman Room
Is a small low budget double-room or a perfect single-room, en-suite with shower, decorated in African style with a queen size bed with electric blankets. The room is equipped with wall heater, TV, safe, fan, hairdryer and tea and coffee facilities.

Blockhouse
This is a lovely room with a queensizebed, electric blankets, daybed, tea- and coffeefacilities, flatscreen tv with M-Net Movie and All Super Sport, bathroom en suite with shower, africanstyle decorated, wooden flooring, own balcony, beautiful views.

Zebra Room
Lovely family-room with a Queen-size bed, electric blankets, sleeper couch, small kitchenette, TV, bathroom en suite with shower, african style decorated, lagoon- and pool view, wall heater, safe, hairdryer. Lagoon- and pool-view. Own entrance, deck and parking.

Cottages
The cottages are two upmarket apartments with separate bedroom with a King-size bed, big bathroom with high standards, kitchen and living area. Wooden flooring, balcony with braai. Self catering or B&B. Perfect for longer stays.

Facilities

Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in our Guest House. The deck is where everybody meets. In summer we serve the breakfast on the deck. During the day you can relax in a hammock looking down onto the golf course and the lagoon or watch the birdlife around and in the evenings you can enjoy a sundowner and watch the beautiful sunsets.

To complete your enjoyment we offer a braai (barbeque) upon request. For the kids we have a playground with jungle-gym including slide, sandpit and a swing. A trampoline is also available. For big and the small we also have a "splash" pool (3.60 m)

The open lounge is the centre of the house. The impressive room with its high ceiling, all built in timber with panorama windows gives you the feeling of expanse. The lounger is in front of the fireplace. On the cooler days we serve the breakfast in the lounge. A WiFi hotspot, as well as a laptop, is available for you to use. We have a small choice of good wines.

Here we plan your stay and help to organize your days. Our guests get brochures, maps and vouchers for a perfect day in and around Knysna. We will gladly book you for your activities and restaurant visits.

Panorama Lodge is perfectly situated for you to explore the Garden Route, also to take advantage of the many recreational features Knysna has to offer, notably golf, water sports, forest walks, boat trips on the Lagoon etc. A visit of the Waterfront is a must do.
