About Pebbles Beach Cottage

Nestled on the edge of the Indian Ocean in the coastal Village of Schoenmakerskop, Pebbles offers a welcome relief from the nearby city of Port Elizabeth. We are ideally situated for visitors who want to do business or visit friends in town, yet have an endless horizon when they wake in the morning. It is unlikely that you will find a room with better views anywhere in town.

Accommodation

Pebbles Beach Cottage offers uninterrupted sea views and small decks from which to watch the sun set below the blood red horizon. All apartments have a TV with limited DStv channels and a well-equipped kitchenette.

Pebbles Penthouse Apartment:
The upstairs unit is a large room with a double bed, a full en-suite bathroom and sweeping views of the ocean. There is a sitting area and a balcony.

Pebbles Downstairs Apartment:
The unit has a bedroom with a double bed. There is a full en-suite bathroom and a living room. Outside there is a deck with a portable braai (barbecue).

Pebbles Courtyard Apartment:
This apartment sleeps two guests in a double bed and has its own private courtyard which looks out onto the sea. There is an en-suite bathroom with a shower only.

Attractions and Activities

Beautiful hikes, swimming beaches and rock pools are on your doorstep, yet the hustle and bustle of Port Elizabeth is only 10 minutes away. The most popular walk is the Sacramento trail which follows the coast to Sardinia Bay and the meanders inland through the fynbos on the way back.

The “Gulley” has a lovely sheltered beach, ideal for children but if you want to catch a wave Sardinia Bay is just a few kilometres down the coast. Also nearby you will find Samrec, the penguin rehabilitation centre and “The Plantation” , an award winning wedding venue.
