About Peperboom

Peperboom offers Cederberg accommodation at Mount Ceder within easy walking distance from the main reception and restaurant. Nestled in a valley of the Grootrivier, surrounded by rugged and dramatic mountains, Mount Ceder lies within easy reach along the main route through the Cederberg mountain range. It is a great wilderness area with majestic views, amazing spring flowers, rugged mountain bike rides, walks and hikes – perfect for the young and not-so young.

Self Catering Accommodation

Peperboom is a self catering holiday cottage in Cederberg sleeping four guests. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The living area is furnished with two single beds.

The kitchen contains a fridge, a microwave, a gas stove and an oven. The open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge is warmed by the indoor fireplace during winter months.

An outside entertainment area with a fireplace to braai/barbeque is perfect for summer months. The view of Blinkberg's stunning red rock face is prominent from the outside entertainment areas.

Dining

The Old Mill House is a licensed restaurant at Mount Ceder, serving breakfasts, light lunches and dinners. The meals are served on a fixed menu basis and cater for most dietary requirements. Evening meals do need to be pre-booked 24 hrs in advance and any special dietary requirements made known when booking.

Activities

With a perennial clear river, wonderful bird life and stunning mountain scenery, Mount Ceder has activities for every taste and level of fitness. Come to the Cederberg and enjoy the mountain scenery and the many activities Mount Ceder has to offer, or just read a book at your house and relax. In addition to the many opportunities for hiking, mountain biking and swimming on the property, we are also within driving distance to many other Cederberg attractions and various 4x4 routes.
