About Phomola Manor

Phomola Manor offers exclusive use accommodation in Phalaborwa, nestled in the African bush on the banks of the dry Swartspruit river. The manor is situated in a Big 5 reserve, Grietjie Private Nature Reserve and part of Balule Nature Reserve, which means our reserve has open borders with Kruger National Park.

Self Catering Accommodation

Phomola Manor is a self-catering holiday home in Phalaborwa with three spacious air-conditioned bedrooms furnished with double or twin beds. The rooms all have en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. There are complimentary coffee / tea facilities and a bar fridge in each room. Two of the bedrooms are inside the Manor for ease of entry to the kitchen and lounge and one bedroom is semi-detached, fully private, leading out onto the deck area and the pool.

The kitchen is fully equipped and if you are planning to stay a little longer, a chest freezer is also available. There is a comfortable living area and a covered patio with braai facilities. This leads out to the lovely swimming pool with umbrella and sun loungers.

The home is self catering and whether one room or three rooms are used, guests will have exclusive use of the entire home.

Activities

After cooling down in the pool and watching the sunset enjoy a late afternoon/evening game drive and experience the nocturnal animals waking and the sounds of the night come alive. Game drives are offered at an additional cost, including a snack box and beverage.

Back at home return to the undercover braai area and start a relaxing fire and as the night starts to settle in and you hear an owl in the distance you might just hear a lion or two as well.

We are fully fenced in with electric fence and our waterhole is just outside the fence to view the animals come to quench their thirst. Phomola means " Place of Rest" so even just by relaxing at the pool, or being amazed at the view, whether it's some magnificent animal, bird or tree, catching some me time in the room or taking a stroll in the garden, we're sure you'll get some rest and exciting memories at Phomola Manor.
