Poachers offers accommodation in Waterval Boven that overlooks the dams as well as the pine forest and views of the valley below. The cottage is located at Kingfisher Lodge about 20km from Dullstroom.

Poachers is a self catering cottage ideal for a peaceful break away. The bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and has a cupboard and vanity. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a spa bath overlooking the valley, a toilet and basin.
The chalet is serviced daily, and the bedding, towels are provided. The unit has a kitchenette with a fridge, a microwave, a stove, crockery, and cutlery.
The chalet also features a fireplace and a private patio with braai facilities.

We are Pet Friendly as long as your fur babies have their own beds and are on leashes when walking around.

The main lodge has a guest lounge with a TV and DStv and meals are available on request. The bar is fully licensed and there is a shared lounge. Guests have the freedom to go hiking and cycling on site and nearby. During your stay you can explore the forest and enjoy fly fishing.
The pools below the 100m waterfall are great for picnicking and swimming. The cliffs are also home to breeding colonies of endangered Bald Ibis.
