Located in the picturesque village of Witsand, at the mouth of the Breede River in the Western Cape, "Pole Pole" is a self-catering holiday retreat.; ; The house accommodates up to 11 guests with its 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, alongside an open-plan kitchen and living area. The main bedroom offers a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and washbasin.; ; The second and third bedrooms each have 2 single beds, sharing a bathroom equipped with a bath, shower, toilet, and washbasin. The fourth bedroom is designed to host additional guests with 2 bunk beds, a single bed, and an en-suite bathroom that includes a shower, toilet, and washbasin.; ; The kitchen is fully outfitted for self-catering, featuring a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, and all necessary cutlery and crockery. There is a breakfast bar with stools for informal dining, and the dining area itself seats 6 comfortably.; ; The lounge is furnished with a cozy suite and a flat-screen TV with Openview HD channels, and guests are invited to bring their DStv decoder and smart card. The house also includes an indoor braai area and off-street parking. In anticipation of load shedding, a gas ring and rechargeable light bulbs are provided for guests' convenience.

      Why do I have to pay a deposit?

      This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

      Can I pay the deposit at month end?

      That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged.
