About Poseidon Guest House
Poseidon Guest House offers luxurious accommodation and one of the best views from its wonderful vantage point of Cape Town's Atlantic Seaboard. All the Bedrooms have fabulous views over Hout Bay and the harbour, across the bay to Chapman's Peak.
Accommodation
All the rooms have en suite bathrooms, with shower and bath and toiletries and towels provided. TVs with DStv access and Wi-Fi connectivity are standard.
Laundry facilities are available on request. Guests are welcome to the communal swimming pool and parking is available on the premises for our guests.
Breakfast & Dining
The rates include breakfast, which is a combination of a continental and hot breakfast. We do like to provide some surprises and inform guests as to any options in advance.
Meals can also be provided from the kitchen subject to prior arrangements. A menu with rates is supplied in room.
Hout Bay
While close enough to Cape Town's CBD to enjoy what the city has to offer, Hout Bay surrounds its own Atlantic Seaboard bay and harbour, with the world famous Chapman's Peak in close proximity.
Not only does Hout Bay offer some of the most beautiful surroundings and beaches in Cape Town, but also offers a wide range of tourist activities e.g. cycling routes, horse trails, hiking trails, water sports and craft and food markets, for both the younger set, as well as those who just want a relaxing break.
Transport
Should guests require public transport, the MyCity bus route passes right in front of the property with a stop no more than 200m from the gate. Airport transfers and additional transport can also be arranged on request.
