About Prince Albert Cottage

Enjoy peace, tranquility and great hospitality at Prince Albert Cottage, annexed to the old 1851 Cape Dutch farm house. It has its own private entrance and patio. Wake up to the country sounds of roosters crowing, donkeys braying, turkeys gobbling and ducks splashing in the pond across the road.

Self Catering Accommodation

Prince Albert Cottage has two en-suite bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a King-size bed and the second bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed. The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

The second bedroom is accessed from the patio and is in part of the old house. When the cottage is booked for four people the second bedroom is locked off from the main house and becomes incorporated into the guests private area. The cottage can only be booked by one group of family or friends so your privacy is guaranteed.

There is an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area with a wood burning fire for those chilly Winter evenings.

A pretty courtyard with fruit trees and a water feature and fountain leads off the patio. A deep karoo style swimming pool in the main garden can be enjoyed day or night. There is a large weber gas grill and a wood/charcoal braai too.

Attractions

Church street with its restaurants, Saturday market and many little boutique shops is a five-minute stroll past a fig grove. De Beers Street is lined with lovingly maintained historic homes. Olive groves and small-town farms with fruit and nut trees and sheep and poultry are a pleasure to be amongst. Take a walk and soak up the beauty of this special town.
