One of the Queen bedrooms has a fireplace and full en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin and separate toilet. The second bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, basin and separate toilet. There is also a romantic outdoor fairy light lit shower.

Outside on the deck you will find a wood burning hot tub. This is the perfect place for sipping on your favourite tipple while admiring the most amazing mountain views all around you. Children are welcome - There are board games and a hot tub on deck and we are a short walk to beach and lagoon.
Secure parking is available on site. As owners living in a small cottage on the same property, we are just a phone call away for any of your needs. We pack your fires ready to light. We can organize your first night at a restaurant if you prefer, or we can buy in the most delicious braai packs from a top quality local butcher if you tell us your requirements.
Pets are welcome by arrangement and with a small deposit.
A what-to-visit board at the entrance with things like visiting the penguins, the wild horses, the craft brewery, wineries, go horse riding, quad biking, walking, obviously swimming ad surfing. We can usually arrange tubing down the Palmiet River and Sea kayaking with an experienced guide. You can drive to the neighbouring villages and explore Harbour Road with pubs, ice cream shops, book shops, gifts, and restaurants.
What is loadshedding? It refers to the temporary suspension of electricity provided by Eskom, South Africa's electricity provider, to reduce consumption and thereby the load on the national grid. To compensate, South African property owners are turning to solar power, inverters with backup batteries or in some cases generators to keep the power on, wherever feasible.

Our stay was very pleasant, but we felt that it could do with a little bit of a update. There was no proper braai utensils or grid, and the fire place blew smoke straight back into the house due to the cowling being stuck at the top of the chimney. A t.v will be nice too for those rainy windy days.

We had such a wonderful stay and the hosts couldn't have been more helpful. The house was clean and full of heart making it most welcoming - it felt like home away from home! The weather was cold, windy with rain but it didn't stop us from getting out and heading off to the light house and braving an icy swim. It was lovely to come back to a warm and cosy house and off course the hot tub. There are some lovely walks in the area. We only managed to walk part of the Hangklip trail but it is really worth doing and the town is quaint.
