About Puntjie House

Puntjie House is situated at the end of the Tuinskloof ridge and offers Cederberg accommodation at Mount Ceder. It is a great wilderness area with majestic views, amazing spring flowers, rugged mountain bike rides, walks and hikes – perfect for the young and not-so young.

Self Catering Accommodation

Puntjie House in Cederberg sleeps six guests. The main bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, bath, toilet and basin. The second room is furnished with two single beds and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Bedding and towels are provided.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering. The living area has two day beds for the fifth and sixth guests. There is a fireplace inside the main lounge area for warmth in winter and a dining table outside on the terrace.

This house has a protected outside braai/barbeque nook on the terrace, creating a comfortable outdoor entertainment area to enjoy at any time of the year.

There is a Jacuzzi on the veranda for those special moments watching the sun slip away over the Kettlekop mountain.

Dining

The Old Mill House is a licensed restaurant at Mount Ceder, serving breakfasts, light lunches and dinners. The meals are served on a fixed menu basis and cater for most dietary requirements. Evening meals do need to be pre-booked 24 hrs in advance and any special dietary requirements made known when booking.

Activities

With a perennial clear river, wonderful bird life and stunning mountain scenery, Mount Ceder has activities for every taste and level of fitness. Come to the Cederberg and enjoy the mountain scenery and the many activities Mount Ceder has to offer, or just read a book at your house and relax.

In addition to the many opportunities for hiking, mountain biking and swimming on the property, we are also within driving distance to many other Cederberg attractions and various 4x4 routes.
