The Red Cliff Lodge has been constructed in such a way that you will feel as if you are the only person on earth and the expression "cabin in the woods" certainly rings true however, the valley is surrounded by red cliffs which glow red in the afternoon sun and are quite a spectacle. The cabin sleeps five guests in two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen and dining area. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed. The second bedroom has a tri-bunk bed with a double bed bottom-bunk and single bed top-bunk, sleeping three. The bathroom contains a shower over a corner bath, as well as a handheld shower attachment. The windows have been fitted with mosquito screens and we have also fitted burglar bars to ensure that your supplies don't get raided by our resident baboons and monkeys. The cabin is completely off-the-grid and operates off gas and solar, keeping it as environmentally friendly as possible. The cabin has a stunning outside thatched lapa with a built-in braai and outdoor dining furniture. A cold-water splash pool is the perfect cool-down spot on extremely hot summer days, or enjoy the sun on one of the sun loungers. You are welcome to enjoy our riverside braai area. Enjoy the peace, tranquillity and stillness that water rippling over the rocks brings.

      Why do I have to pay a deposit?

      This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.
