Red Earth Farmhouse is a highly recommended property for self catering in Magaliesburg for up to 6 guests visiting the Magaliesberg region.
Red Earth is a self catering farmhouse outside Magaliesberg. The farmhouse was built from bricks made of the red clay dug on the farm. These were then sun dried and used without firing them, and retained its red colouring. This farmhouse is very much home made.

The lounge has comfortable furniture that could sleep two small children if needed. There is a dining area, a pantry and a kitchen.
Outside there is a patio with braai facilities.

What is loadshedding? It refers to the temporary suspension of electricity provided by Eskom, South Africa's electricity provider, to reduce consumption and thereby the load on the national grid. To compensate, South African property owners are turning to solar power, inverters with backup batteries or in some cases generators to keep the power on, wherever feasible.

Great quiet (except for birds and other animals) surroundings. Spacious house with basic facilities. Some inconveniences such as the shower which did't water off well, only one toilet which was in the bathroom. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much!

This is a place to go to and just relax. The view is exactly as per the advert and even better. The house is a warm typical farmhouse and you get the feeling of visiting close family rather than staying in a chalet. The kitchen is a disappointment in that: We could only manage to get one of the gas stowe burners
