About Red Mountain Retreat
Situated on the ridge in the back corner of Clarens, Red Mountain Retreat is a self-catering holiday home in Clarens offering one of the best views with direct access to the Clarens Conservancy with various hiking and walking trails. It is only a 10-minute drive or about a 20-minute walk from the town square.
Self Catering Accommodation
Red Mountain Retreat has two en-suite bedrooms. The main bedroom is fitted with a King-size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. Crisp white percale bed linen and colourful cotton Mungo towels are provided for guests while fluffy blankets and throws allow guests to feel at home.
The open plan living area has a lounge with a fireplace, dining room and a kitchen that is fully equipped for self catering including a gas stove, convection oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and a microwave. There is a Nespresso coffee machine, a French press, and a stove top kettle to ensure that coffee lovers get their fix.
Wi-Fi is provided and a Smart TV for you to login to your favourite streaming services.
The patio has a gas braai and an additional table for outside dining. The garden is fenced and there is a single garage for secure covered parking. The house is accessed via an external staircase.
Pet-Friendly
We are pet friendly. We have two rules: No dogs on the beds and do not leave your dog at the house when you go out. Please bring your own pet bed etc.
Attractions
An easy three to four hours' drive from Johannesburg, Clarens has become the long weekend mecca of those after an arty, sleepy hollow with just enough entertainment not to be dull. Popular activities include reptile shows, fly fishing, hiking, horse riding, and 4x4 adventures.
