About Reflections Eco-Reserve

Situated four and a half hours from Cape Town, between Wilderness and Sedgefield, Reflections Eco-Reserve is the perfect get away for anyone wanting a nature holiday. The self catering lodge is on a 29 hectare rehabilitated pine plantation and boasts four wooden houses ensuring maximum privacy and exclusivity.

Self Catering Accommodation

Timeber Eco-Chalets
The beautifully appointed chalets can accommodate a maximum of four adults and two children each and comprise two bedrooms, one of which is a double and one a twin, large bathroom with shower bath and toilet, an extra toilet as well as an outdoor shower. An upstairs loft can accommodate children, also a twin bedroom. Each of the houses is powered by its own wind turbine as well as solar panels. They also each have a solar geyser and a gas geyser as back-up for overcast weather.

The chalets are serviced daily and the rate is inclusive of all linen, bath towels (beach towels are available on request) bio-degradable shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and all fire and braai wood.

Luxury Tents
The unique tents are a wonderful way to get in touch with nature. These en-suite safari tents, each with an en-suite bathroom, self-catering kitchenette also offer private braai facilities.

Additional Facilities

All the chalets are set well apart from each other ensuring privacy as well as peace and quiet and the children's play area is situated away from the houses. A large viewing deck is placed along the lake and has a spectacular view across the water.

Location

Located on the Rondevlei, and surrounded by the Garden Route National Park we have access to it all; beaches, forest, canoeing, mountains, cycling, birding and fantastic walks are all very accessible from the reserve. Maps of the various cycling and walking routes as well as bird checklists are available for Guests. Bicycle hire can be arranged in Sedgefield.

We have an active land rehabilitation programme and to this end we support an empowerment nursery in Sedgefield. All our guests are encouraged to off-set their Carbon miles as well as to contribute to the bio-diversity by buying and planting trees.
