Situated in Lydenburg, Rivendell Trout Estate offers self catering accommodation in Lydenburg two cottages on the banks of the Spekboom River in the Finsbury Valley. Build wonderful memories while fishing for trout, going on walks or enjoying a game drive.

Self Catering Accommodation

Each cottage has a stretch of 1.5km of river exclusively for the use of the occupants. The river banks are groomed regularly to provide easy access for fishermen. Guests are welcome to walk at will along the river and the surrounding roads and trails. There is plenty of varied birdlife to interest keen birdwatchers.

Exclusive use of a 1.5 km stretch of river. The river is regularly stocked with Rainbow Trout and the river banks are well-maintained to offer easy access for fishermen.

The cottage comprises 4 bedrooms, and a large open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The first and second bedrooms each contain king-size beds. The third and fourth bedrooms each contain 2 single beds. There are 2 full bathrooms with a shower and a bath shared between the 4 bedrooms. The lounge has a large fireplace for winter evenings. Outside is a comfortable deck with both a wood and gas braai facilities overlooking trout pools in the river.
