About River Crossing
River Crossing Berg Accommodation is set on 100 acres of land with magnificent, panoramic views of the lush farmlands of the Champagne Valley and the mountains, Cathkin Peak and Champagne Castle.
Situated in the Central Drakensberg, which forms part of the World Heritage Site. River Crossing is bounded by both the Mtoti and the Sterkspruit Rivers and local reedbuck and duiker, which are frequently spotted, take their refuge in the surrounding riverine vegetation.

We had a lovely stay in Villa Toscana - the bedrooms were amazing. The entire house was beautifully clean and well presented. We have a few suggestions for if the villa is to be made available for self catering. There is no place to braai if it rains, so a covered verandah would be perfect. The kitchen needs a few additional items - sharp knives, tupperwares and oven dishes. But overall an amazing place.
