Riverstone's FamTin offers modern and trendy accommodation for 4, in 2 en-suite rooms. If you're looking for an escape from the City, to a fabulous farmstay in quirky and contemporary accommodation, FamTin is exactly what you need. Riverstone's FamTin is an eco-build double container conversion that is fully equipped for a great self-catering stay.

Self Catering Accommodation

You will find inside and outside dining spaces and lounge areas, a deep covered patio with a built in BBQ, and an economical and efficient wood burning stove inside the central space. Cosy in winter, and with fans throughout to keep cool in summer. FamTin is situated on the farm dam edge, which is perfect for swimming. Uninterrupted views of the gorgeous Mostertshoek Mountains, you can expect pink and orange sunsets every evening. We purposefully have no TV in FamTin, but do offer uncapped wifi.

Both FamTin rooms are ensuite. The main room is furnished with a double bed and has a Victorian slipper bath and a private star-gazing outdoor shower. The second room is furnished with twin beds and hash an inside shower. Both enjoy views to the mountains. White ironed guesthouse quality linen, and soft white towels. Standard, firm and anti-allergy pillows to choose from, all to ensure a good rest. Both rooms have overhead fans.

Be aware of farm equipment, and you may meet pickers/pruners in the orchards on occasion.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Candice is a wonderful and generous host, eager to satisfy our every need. The cottage is very well kitted and decorated with attention to detail. We spent hours on the stoep overlooking the dam and enjoyed the superb bird life around us. We even had the odd Mongoose coming past. A walk around the mountain further into the farm is a must - beautiful scenery. Thank you for a lovely stay!
