Rocklands Eco Retreat container cabin offers a studio-style layout with a comfortable King-size bed and a bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. For the adventurous types, our bed can easily move to the deck and allows you to sleep under the stars and enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Take a refreshing outdoor shower and water our Granadilla Plant with the run-off. The kitchenette is fitted with a gas hob and a fridge. For those who love cooking, we have a plant box with fresh herbs to add some extra flavour to your meals. And for digital nomads, we have dedicated workspaces and free Wi-Fi to keep you connected during your stay. There is also a comfortable sitting area. Outside is a big deck, which serves as extra lounge space for you to unwind in the fresh mountain air. Relax in the outdoor bathtub while taking in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Electricity will be provided from solar energy, water will come from a natural spring and borehole and waste will be recycled to leave a minimal carbon footprint. Please note the dirt/rocky road to the cabin is not tended. Cars should park at the bottom of the property and guests need to walk 150 metres uphill to the cabin.

      Why do I have to pay a deposit?

      This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

      Can I pay the deposit at month end?
