About Rukiya Safari Camp
Rukiya Safari Camp is an intimate tented camp based in the Wild Rivers Nature Reserve in the Kruger Region, approximately 10km outside of Hoedspruit in South Africa. The camp is situated on the banks of Blyde River and has stunning river and mountain views. Being on the river there is always activity in front of camp; hippos, crocodiles and an abundance of bird life as well as visits from larger game species too.

Accommodation
The luxury river room tents are suitable for two people and the bush room tents accommodate four people, which are ideal for families. All the beds can be converted to doubles and singles. All the rooms are en-suite with their own private decks. Wi-Fi is provided throughout the camp on a complimentary basis.
We offer a personalized experience and are owner managed. We offer an all-inclusive package, including accommodation, meals and safaris.
Additional Facilities
There infinity pool that overlooks the river, there is a large deck area, boma, dining area and inside and outside lounge. There is also a bar in the main lodge area.
Wildlife Experiences
We offer a wildlife experience with the opportunity to see the Big 5 and all the Kruger Region has to offer. All our game drives and bush walks are carried out by experienced guides in prime wildlife locations.
We pride ourselves on responsible travel and it is a key concept of who we are and how we operate. We are an eco-friendly camp, from how the lodge is built, to run and furnished. We are also the base of one of the leading leopard research projects in South Africa; allowing our guests to get involved in some of the exciting parts of the foundation during their South African safari experience.

Please note that the reserve gate is open from 06h00 to 18h00, so please plan to arrive and depart in this time frame.
There is an out of hours gate service that can be arranged if you are going to arrive late, This service runs from 18h00 to 19h30 but there will be no access granted after 19h30.
The fee for this out of hours service is R200 per vehicle. Should you need a late gate entry between 18h00 to 19h30 this needs to be arranged in advance (before the gate closes at 18h00) and this can be done by contacting the lodge directly. Should this arrangement not be made before 18h00 Should you arrive after 19h30 unfortunately there will be no access into the reserve.
