About Sandcastle Villa

Set amongst the natural beauty of the estate's fauna and flora, the awe-inspiring Sandcastle Villa was designed to imitate the land and boundless seascape with the estate's turrets invoke a reflection of a termite mound, or a loosely-formed sandcastle. The Villa offers exclusive accommodation in the Sunshine Coast, approximately 60km from Port Alfred.

Self Catering Accommodation

The 250 hectares surrounding the villa is a wildlife conservancy, home to zebra, giraffe, sable and antelope indigenous to the area. The reserve is also home to smaller mammals, such as the Cape Yellow mongoose, civet and genet.

The villa and cottage sleep eight guests in total.

The main villa has four en-suite bedrooms. Two of the rooms are furnished with a King-size bed and have an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. The other two bedrooms are furnished with either a King-size bed or two three-quarter beds. One of the en-suite bathrooms is fitted with a shower, basin and toilet and the other bathroom is fitted with a bath, toilet and basin.

The property also has a two-bedroom cottage, one of which is furnished with a King-size bed and the other has a King-size bed or two three-quarter sized beds. The two bedrooms share a bathroom.

There is a fully equipped kitchen and a formal dining room which seats comfortably. There are two lounge areas, each of which have a fireplace for chilly winter evenings. The rooms are air conditioned and facilities include DStv and Smart TVs.

The villas has two solar heated swimming pools, surrounded with day beds and sun loungers for a day of relaxing. There is an outdoor dining area for 12 as well as a sheltered courtyard and outdoor lounge. Enjoy a meal of pizzas made in the pizza oven or alternatively make use of the braai facilities.

Secure parking is provided in three covered garages. The Villa also has a helipad and private landing strip. There is 24 hour security.

Activities and Attractions

The Villa is encompassed by 2km of largely untouched beachfront, an ideal landscape for windswept walks, ocean dips and bush hikes. In addition, Sandcastle offers activities such as game viewing, hiking, surfing, angling, kayaking and mussel picking.
