Shepherd's Cottage is located in Underberg and is one of two cottages offering accommodation on the 90 hectare Farraway Farm (the other is Hilltop Cottage). Shepherd's Cottage is securely fenced and is a small, one bedroom cottage near the hen house overlooking the sheep and horse paddocks.

Self Catering Accommodation

Shepherd's Cottage has one bedroom with a double bed, bedside tables and an en-suite bathroom that is fitted with a shower, toilet and a basin. Bed linen, bathroom and beach towels are provided.

The kitchen has everything needed for self catering and contains a stove, oven, fridge / freezer, kettle, microwave, a toaster and a breakfast nook with seating for guests to enjoy their meals. There is an indoor fireplace in the living area as well as a comfortable couch for guests to relax on.

Outside there is an undercover verandah with outdoor seating and a BBQ / braai area. Guests are also able to visit the chickens to see if there are any freshly laid eggs for breakfast.

Awesome accommodation lovely views and walks but it has a terrible road to get to the place. If we had been in my car and not my husbands bakkie we would have battled on the terrible bumpy road.
