Sigurwana Lodge enhances the authentic back-to-nature experience guests enjoy at our impressive mountain-top wilderness reserve in South Africa. Our unique lodge accommodation near Louis Trichardt (60km outside the town) provides you with beautiful views across spectacular swathes of natural scenic beauty and is the ideal place from which to explore the vast range of fascinating indigenous creatures and plants that inhabit our 5,500 hectare hotspot of biodiversity.

Accommodation

Sigurwana Lodge is an intimate Lodge with a choice of uniquely designed chalets, a safari tent, and the Ystervark suite. Tea and coffee facilities, home-baked biscuits, fresh mountain water and morning gowns are provided in all of the units.

An inviting lounge with a fire place, intriguing books and collection of art works are a welcoming meeting point for socializing and relaxation in the evenings. There is free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, laundry facilities and secure parking. Airport shuttle services can be arranged.

Experience

Sigurwana is a true botanical paradise: there are more than 320 different species of trees, including an ancient forest, as well as rare cycads, and provides a haven for leopard, Samango, monkeys, baboons, bush pig, crowned eagle, and a bounty of other birds.

Game drives on an open Landcruiser and guided walks are the best way to explore the bush and can be arranged at any time. The personal attention of your game ranger provides an unforgettable wildlife experience and great insight into the unspoiled splendour of Sigurwana Wilderness. Our ranger also cares for our guests' particular interests, such as photography.

You can enjoy multiple daily activities from the lodge to help you explore the delights of an unspoiled expanse of natural magnificence. Our lodge services include:
