Siloam Lodge is situated 65 km from Kimberley (N12 South) and 150km from Bloemfontein (R48 West) and borders on the Riet River. The nearest town is Jacobsdal, (18km from Siloam Lodge) a town with a rich historical and cultural heritage with the famous Magersfontein Battlefields and Museum only 20 km north-west of town

Self Catering Accommodation

Set in the beautiful surroundings overlooking a waterhole are four luxury thatched chalets and a luxury family unit with two bedrooms. The four single chalets sleep four maximum, the family unit sleeps six maximum and a camping cot is available for babies.

The chalets are luxurious and comfortable, self catering, fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. Breakfast can be supplied by prior arrangement at an extra charge.

Luxury Thatched Chalets:
Each unit has an en-suite bathroom, lounge, DStv and DVD facility, microwave and fridge / freezer. There is an outside braai area for each chalet; firewood is provided. Chalets also have fully equipped kitchens.

Family Luxury Chalet:
Each unit has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, lounge, DStv and DVD facility, microwave and fridge / freezer. An outside braai area is equipped with a built-in braai (firewood provided). There is a fully equipped kitchen.

Functions

Siloam Lodge and Event Centre has a function venue in a thatched lapa and can seat 70 guests. Adjoining the lapa is an open bar facility overlooking a waterhole where guests can have a sundowner while enjoying beautiful sunsets in an unspoiled environment. The main complex also has an enclosed boma with adequate braai facilities for your event under the stars.

Activities

We offer activities range from bass fishing, trail running and mountain biking to open water swimming (Xterra Training facilities). For the golf lover the Jacobsdal, Koffiefontein and Modderrivier Golf Courses are nearby. The 1460ha farm is ideal for game viewing and hiking. Siloam Lodge is home to more than 15 species of wild life.
