Welcome to Sionshoop Guest Farm. A place of rest and relaxation surrounded by nature in its purest form. We offer four luxurious, fully equipped self-catering cottages, with warm countryside hospitality. We are located in Van Wyksdorp, 3.8 km from Van Wyksdorp Mall and other local gems. Waterhole is 5 km from Sionshoop, while Surveyor Beacon is approximately 8 km from the property. The nearest airport is George Airport, located 86 km from our guest farm.
Self Catering Accommodation
Each two-bedroom cottage offers a semi-private terrace with braai facilities and unsurpassed sunrise views. There are two bedrooms; the main bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and the second bedroom has with either two single beds.
All units include a fully equipped kitchen, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. We do however offer braai packs and catering services on request if arranged in advance and at an additional cost depending on your requirements.
Sionshoop has a beautifully kept vegetable garden, olive trees, on-site picnic spots and accessible hiking and mountain bike trails. The kids get to enjoy the trampoline on-site and the local swimming dam is a mere 2km away, making it an ideal excursion by foot, bike or motor-vehicle.
The Area
Van Wyksdorp is a charming, small, quiet hideaway nestled between the Langeberg and Rooiberg mountains. The area can only be accessed by good gravel roads which indicates just how removed we are from the hustle and bustle. Warm days culminate into breath-taking sunsets and the magic of the night sky will leave you in awe.
