Somerset Lodge, is set in a English country garden against a backdrop of magnificent mountains. We are situated a mere two-minute walk from the Montagu Nature Garden, and our garden is visited by a large variety of bird species.

Our stay was pleasant however we found the write up online to be a bit misleading. "Free Wifi" does not mean access to online streaming and can only be used for messaging and "Braai facilities provided" also does not include all units and is a communal portable braai - These things should be made clear in the online description. Over and above that, the venue is beautifully decorated both inside and out and nice as an overnight stop.
