Self Catering Accommodation

Songold @ Oak Lane is cozy cottage that sleeps two guests. This Elgin Holiday Cottage has a bedroom furnished with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, toilet and basin.

The kitchen has a dining table where you can enjoy your meals and an indoor braai / fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering and includes a gas oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge. All crockery, cutlery and glassware are supplied.

Outside there is a garden with a table and chairs and outdoor braai facilities. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed

Additional Services

Stocking of Fridge:
We can pre stock your fridge before you check in. Once your booking has been finalized, you have the option to have your fridge pre stocked by filling in a form we send upon booking.

Breakfast Baskets:
We offer breakfast baskets on request at an additional cost per person. Baskets include fresh croissants, jams, cheese, butter, cold meat and yoghurt all locally sourced from our Elgin Valley. Breakfast baskets will be hand delivered every morning at 08h30.

Picnic Baskets:
Oak Lane Cottages has beautiful spots for picnics. We offer picnic baskets at an additional cost per person that includes a variety of snacks and a bottle of wine all locally sourced in our Elgin Valley.

Location & Experiences

The scenic towns of Greyton, Hermanus, Stanford, Villiersdorp and Caledon are all within easy driving distance of the farm, as are the coastal towns of Kleinmond, Betty's Bay, Pringle Bay and Rooi Els. Activities on the farm include mountain biking on our own trails (Lebanon Mtb Trails) which start and end at the cottages, jogging, hiking, bird watching, and swimming.
