Spindrift 2 is a furnished self-catering holiday apartment in Margate, located in the secure Spindrift complex close to the beach, and near to various shops and amenities.

Self Catering Accommodation

Spindrift 2 can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children and has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area.

The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed. The second bedroom has two single beds not suitable for adults. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Guests need to bring their own towels. Bed linen is supplied.

The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a stove and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, and toaster. The lounge contains a TV, guests need to bring their own small DStv decoder and card or an Open View Decoder. Without a decoder there will not be any TV channels.

The apartment opens onto to a balcony overlooking the lagoon. Braai facilities are available.

There is 1 lock-up garage, suitable for standard-sized vehicles, but no extra parking.

Attractions

The lower South Coast offers some of the most amazing golf courses in South Africa. Margate is within 60 minutes of 9 golf courses, two of them rated amongst SA's top 12. No wonder this is called the golf coast of South Africa. The long golden beach of Margate is where it all happens, and in a 2-minute drive, there's an amusement park and Margate's main swimming beach.

During the holiday season there are a host of festivities taking place for the young and old. Margate Beach also offers excellent swimming and surfing and has the sought after Blue Flag status. Water temperatures rarely drop below 20 degrees celcius, so you can swim all year round, even in mid-winter.
