About Starfish Guest Lodge

Starfish Guest Lodge is a two minute walk to the nearest swimming beach - Robberg. Starfish overlooks a landscaped indigenous garden and has a salt water pool at the lodge.

Accommodation

Starfish Guest Lodge offers accommodation in Plettenberg Bay in four en-suite rooms (two of these are doubles and the other two are twins). They can be converted into a king. Only the finest quality line and bedding has been provided as well as under floor heating throughout the property.

There are heated towel rails in the bathroom, safety deposit boxes and hair dryers. Each room has beach towels, beach chairs and a sun umbrella which can be taken down to the beach. The rooms have their own balcony which overlooks the pool and garden area.

There is a communal kitchen where tea / coffee can be made and a communal mini bar. The public area consists of a dining room, lounge and kitchen. There is an upper landing where there is seating plus an alcove with an extra bed in each. The dining area inside and outside can comfortably seat 12 persons.

In the public area there is internet access free of charge and Starfish Lodge also has Wi-Fi connections. The lounge area has satellite television.

The kitchen area is equipped with stove, fridge / freezer, microwave, washing machines, tumble dryer, dish washing machine and the normal utensils, crockery and cutlery. Starfish Lodge also has a Weber braai available.

The lodge serves a continental and full English breakfast or can be used for exclusive use on a self catering basis. The lodge is serviced on a daily basis.

Children are welcome at Starfish Lodge.

Activities and facilities in the area

There are approximately 70 restaurants, six bars and 10 coffee shops in and around Plettenberg Bay. Facilities within a 3km radius include the Plettenberg Bay central business area with all the accompanying shops, beauty parlours, boutiques, health spas and pharmacies.

The following sporting facilities are available – golf, tennis, bowls, fishing, boating, and surfing and kite surfing.

Activities with a 30km radius – horse riding, polo, Monkey Land Primate Sanctuary, Birds of Eden (the world's biggest free flight aviary), elephant and cheetah parks, snake parks, wolf sanctuaries and various ocean based activities, kayaking and cruising up the Keurbooms River. There is also skydiving and plane trips available in the area.

The world's highest bungy jump is situated 37km from the Lodge.

For golfing enthusiast, Plettenberg Bay offers two superb courses and we are in close proximity to Knysna, Pezula and Simola Golf Courses and 100km's away to the world famous Fancourt Golf Course.
