About Stepping Stones
Stepping Stones is situated in the small Karoo town of Tarkastad, about 65km from Queenstown. It is off the main road and has two units - a garden cottage and a rondawel. There is a large garden, safe for children to play in, and has mountain views in the background.

We are situated off the main road and have two units, a garden cottage and a rondavel.
Tea and coffee facilities are available in both the rooms and the kitchenette. There is a braai place and we can supply wood and equipment.

Additional Facilities
Tarkastad has very little crime but nonetheless, the garden cottage and kitchenette have security bars on the windows and lockable security gates and the doors.
There is also plenty of off-street parking behind a lockable gate. The rooms do not have a television. Wireless internet can be provided on request but there is an extra charge for this.
The resident animals include dogs, cats and chickens, and we can accommodate pets on request (provided of course that they don't eat chickens)!

Dave and Cathy were excellent hosts and provided clean, comfortable and quality accommodation. They were easy to communicate with prior to our stay and responded promptly to all messages. The Garden room was exactly what we needed with a double bed, tea/coffee facilities and a large ensuite bathroom. Easy access to the kitchen next door also made it simple to warm up meals. We appreciated the extra touches taken as well as an extra mattress bed being made up on the floor for our son. We would definitely stay again!
