The cottage has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom as well as a double sleeper couch. The bedrooms all have wardrobes and mirrors. Bed linen and towels are provided. One bathroom is equipped with both a ball and claw bath and a spacious shower. There is a large kitchen equipped with a gas hob and electric oven as well as a fridge / freezer, a toaster, a kettle and a microwave. Crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are provided. There is also a wood stove for the cooks that wish to go back in time. The living room has a wood fire and stunning views onto the surrounding countryside. A bag of wood is provided for guests to enjoy the fire. Parking is provided in the grounds of Stormy Hill.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
