About Taaibos Bush Lodge

Taaibos Bush Lodge is located within the expansive Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, a 645-hectare sanctuary where wildlife roams freely. Guests frequently encounter giraffes, zebras, kudu, impala, warthogs, waterbuck, and nyala. Occasionally, hyenas, leopards, and caracals make appearances on the estate.

Accommodation

Each luxurious self-catering open-plan chalet is furnished with an extra-length king-size bed that overlooks the bush. Guests can choose between a king bed or twin beds. Adjacent to the bed are a wardrobe and a dresser table. On the opposite side, a separate lounge area features a Smart TV.

The elegant bathroom includes a free-standing bath and two distinct showers: an indoor rain-head shower and a private outdoor shower with views of the surrounding bush. The well-equipped kitchenette in each unit comes with a microwave, oven, hot plate, and bar fridge. Each chalet provides privacy and features a partially covered deck with a comfortable lounge area.

Breakfast & Dining

The lodge offers a sumptuous breakfast buffet. Guests can also enjoy meals at the boma and firepit braai/BBQ area under the stars.

We can arrange a relaxing massage treatment on the deck of your chalet or you can explore the estate on a bicycle safari. For those interested in horseback safaris, the riding school and stables are conveniently located nearby.

Taaibos Bush Lodge is ideally situated for those seeking a bush experience while remaining close to the attractions of Hoedspruit and its surroundings.

For a thrilling game drive and a chance to see the Big 5, a ranger will collect you from the lodge and within 15 minutes, you will be in the Greater Kruger area. We can also arrange a variety of activities, including helicopter flights over the Blyde River Canyon and scenic day trips along the Panorama Route.
