this establishment is not a B&B but a workmans hostel. we spent 950 Rand and we are sure that the workforce does not even pay half of that. SA venues should take this establishment off their listing immediately.

The manager was extremely rude and shouted at me over the phone when I arrived and found that my room was not the same as is advertised on this website. Such a pity because the kitchen staff is so kind and really prepared a hearty breakfast and paid so much attention to our comfort. I will not be going to Birdhouse again. Over-priced.
