The Area
The cottage is self check in and we leave guests to enjoy their privacy, although we live on the farm and are available should you need us, or wish for guidance on farm trails. Broederstroom farm is an historic, working cattle farm that is a member of a 70 000 ha conservancy and is flanked by National Park, private reserves and livestock farms. It is soon to join the Cape Mountain Zebra Protected Environment. The farm is also 12km from Graaff-Reinet, the 4th oldest town in South Africa and one of the most beautiful.

Wild Olive Cottage is only short drive (+- 12km R61) from Graaff Reinet. It is quiet and peaceful place to relax. The Cottage is comfortable and well equipped. Stock up before you leave Graaff Reinet with groceries and braai wood. Beautiful scenery around, although the gravel road needs a bit of maintenance, luckily only for a short distance.
